About Me

Hamp Stevens was born in 1950 and grew up in Ellaville, Georgia. After graduating from the University of Georgia, he owned and operated a number of businesses before semi-retiring in 2003.

For the past 40 years, he has developed his skill as a woodworker, building high-end furniture, wood strip canoes and kayaks. He is an accomplished wood turner and a member of the American Wood Turners Association.
